Questions and answers

How to buy DIO, what the warranty covers and which part goes with which, in one place.

How do I buy DIO products?

DIO is sold through dealers and wholesalers, not directly from this site. Write to hello@dio.lighting with your market and the ranges you are interested in and we will point you to a dealer or come back with trade terms.

Do you sell to private customers?

Not directly. Architects, interior designers and homeowners get DIO through our dealers and the furniture makers and installers who stock it. Ask us and we will name one near you.

How do I become a DIO dealer?

Tell us about your market and the channels you sell through using the contact form, with "Becoming a dealer" as the subject. We reply with trade terms, availability and lead times for the ranges you asked about.

Why are there no prices on the site?

Pricing depends on the dealer and the volume, so it is not published here. Availability, pricing and lead times are given on request for the parts you name.

What is the warranty?

Every part carries a 5 to 7 year warranty; the exact term is stated on its product page and in its datasheet.

Where do I find specifications and datasheets?

Each product page prints the published specifications and links a datasheet PDF with dimensions, ratings and drawings. The same data is collected in the PDF catalogues, one for the whole range and one per range, on the Catalogues page.

Which voltage should I choose, 12 V or 24 V?

Both families are in the range. Choose the strip first by light output and colour, then a power supply in the same voltage with enough power for the total strip length. The voltage and watts per metre of each strip are printed on its entry.

Do the profiles, strips, drivers and controllers work together?

Yes, that is the point of the range. The strips are sized for the profile channels, the drivers come in the same voltages in power steps that cover typical strip runs, and the controllers sit between driver and strip. Each entry states voltage, power and dimensions so the matching parts can be chosen.

What lengths do the profiles come in?

Every aluminium profile is available in 1, 2, 3 and 6 metre lengths, with covers, end caps and holders to match.

Can the LED strips be cut?

Standard and Premium strips cut at the marked cutting points stated on each entry. The Eko COB FreeCut strips cut at any point along their length.

Where are DIO products made?

The aluminium profiles and the LED strips are manufactured in the EU. Country of origin is stated on each product page where it is published.

How do I quote a part when ordering?

Use the DIO code printed under each product title and in the catalogue. It identifies the part, its length and its finish, so a dealer can confirm it without a description.
