Proximity Sensor Switch With Dimmer

Functions

• Switches the light on and off when a hand passes over the sensor within 18 cm (without a cover).
• Input 12–24 V DC, load up to 8 A (96–192 W).
• Holding the hand over the sensor for more than a second adjusts the brightness from 3 % to 100 %.
• 0 V memory function.
• Dimensions 55 × 10 mm.
• Connections: V+ and V− input, LED+ and LED− output to the strip.

Operation

• Designed for LED aluminium profiles: the light is switched without touching the switch.
• An active reflective photocell sends infrared pulses and measures the reflected signal; a hand close to the sensor reverses the output state.
• The infrared light is emitted at a fixed frequency, so the sensor ignores infrared remote controls, lamps and other sources.

Installation

• Keep the distance from the PC cover to the profile between 7 mm and 50 mm.
