Touch dimmer sensor switch through wood/glass/mirror

Functions

• Switches the light on and off by a touch through wood or glass up to 40 mm thick.
• Input 12–24 V DC, load up to 4 A (48–96 W).
• Holding the hand on the surface for more than a second adjusts the brightness from 3 % to 100 %.
• 0 V memory function and soft on/off.
• DC cable 50 cm on input and output; dimensions 40 × 40 × 8 mm.

Operation

• A quick touch (under 550 ms) switches the light on or off; the light comes on at 90 % brightness.
• Holding the touch (over 550 ms) dims continuously: down to the minimum in 3 seconds when the light is on, up to 100 % in 3 seconds when it is off.
• Quick touches and holds can be combined at any time; the dimming level is memorised at 12–24 V DC.

Installation

• Do not hold the sensor with one hand while touching with the other during testing.
• The sensor cannot be installed on conductive materials; on a mirror, remove the 2 mm silver strip around the switch.
